Why practise on a computer
JAMB's Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is written on a computer, and students who have only ever answered questions on paper often lose time to the format rather than the content: reading questions on a screen, moving between questions and watching the clock. Regular CBT practice in school removes that surprise.
WAEC and NECO objective papers reward the same habits: working at a steady pace, not spending too long on one question and finishing within the time. Timed practice builds those habits, whatever the final format of the paper.
How your school runs practice tests
Practice tests use EduMatrix's CBT exam module. Your teachers add questions to the school's question bank, typed in or imported from an Excel/CSV file, and group them by subject, class and difficulty level. A practice test is then set for SS 2 or SS 3 with the time allowed, the exam window and the number of attempts.

Scores and follow-up
Each attempt is marked on submission, and students can see their scores when you choose to show them. Teachers see every student's results for every practice paper, which makes it easy to spot a student who keeps failing the same subject, or a topic where the whole class struggles and needs revision.
Every practice and mock result stays in EduMatrix, so form teachers can follow a student's progress from the first practice paper to the last mock.
Where the questions come from
EduMatrix does not come with a bank of JAMB, WAEC or NECO past questions. Your teachers create or import the questions, which keeps the practice tied to what they are teaching and to the syllabus they are following. Many schools start by importing questions they already use for revision, then add more each term so the bank grows.
Because the questions belong to your school, you decide how they are used: as topic tests during the term, as full-length mock papers before the examination period, or as revision homework during holidays.
Getting started
You need your exam classes set up in EduMatrix, questions in the question bank, and devices with a web browser and internet access for the students. Nothing needs to be installed on each computer. Most schools begin with one subject, such as Use of English, run a first practice test in the computer room, and expand from there.
