Core sovereignty principles
Zero student profiling for ads
No commercial tracking, zero behavioral advertising, and no data-broker sales. Learner activity stays within instructional and school-operations context.
School-owned records
The school retains ownership of academic and operational student data. EduMatrix processes that data as a service provider for the subscribed institution.
Encryption & access control
HTTPS in transit, role-based permissions, and per-school branch isolation so one campus cannot see another’s records.
Parent & guardian rights
Schools configure parent portals and permissions. Guardians can request review or correction through the school and our privacy contact channel.
How EduMatrix keeps classroom data out of commercial networks
Each school deployment uses an isolated branch tenant. Telemetry used for learning and operations stays under school-controlled roles and is not sold for advertising.

We do not build advertising profiles from learner activity outside school-configured analytics.
No unrestricted AI training
Student coursework is not used to train public foundation models for unrelated commercial purposes.
Regulatory alignment & safeguards
EduMatrix processes education records under the school’s direction for legitimate educational and operational purposes.
For younger learners, collection is limited to what the school authorizes for instruction and campus services.
Access logging, encrypted sessions, and least-privilege roles help schools protect student and staff accounts.
Retention & deletion timeline
Student data is retained while the school’s subscription and educational relationship require it, then exported or deleted according to offboarding rules.
Active school use
Rosters, grades, attendance, and portal activity remain available to authorized school roles during the subscription term.
Export / offboarding
On non-renewal or exit, schools may export available records through platform tools or coordinated request.
Deletion after retention
After export opportunities and legal retention needs, production data is removed from active systems per schedule.
